CAMT Format Bank Statements Import

This module adds CAMT as a supported bank statement file format in Odoo's bank statement import wizard. When you import a file, Odoo first tries to read it as a CAMT XML file; if that fails, it tries to open it as a ZIP archive and reads every CAMT file inside, combining all transactions into one statement.

• The import screen now lists CAMT and zipped CAMT as available formats.
• The parser reads account number (IBAN or other identifier), currency, statement name, opening balance and closing balance, and each transaction's date, amount, reference, partner name, partner account number and communication text.
• Debit and credit indicators are used to set the sign of each amount.
• A note is automatically added to each imported line showing partner name, partner account number, transaction date, reference and communication, plus any additional transaction information.
• The module also fixes a partner assignment issue during reconciliation: when a statement line still has the default name '/', the automatic partner search is skipped so that the wrong partner is not assigned.

It works with account.bank.statement.import, account.bank.statement, account.bank.statement.line and account.journal, and adds a new parser model account.bank.statement.import.camt.parser. It supports CAMT.052, CAMT.053 and CAMT.054 namespaces.
