Account Fiscal Position - Type

This module lets you decide, for each fiscal position, whether it is meant for sales, for purchases, or for both. A new field called "Position Application" is added on the fiscal position form and list, with the choices Sale, Purchase and All (the default is All). The same field is also available on fiscal position templates, so the choice is carried over when a chart of accounts template is installed.

On invoices, bills, credit notes and receipts, the list of fiscal positions you can pick is automatically filtered according to the document type: a sale document only offers fiscal positions marked Sale or All, and a purchase document only offers those marked Purchase or All. If a fiscal position that no longer matches the document is already set, it is cleared automatically when the document type or the partner changes.

The module touches the accounting models account.fiscal.position, account.fiscal.position.template, account.move and account.chart.template. It only changes existing fiscal position screens and the invoice form; no new menu is created. Access is limited to accounting managers for the related group in the demo data.
