Account Fixed Discount

This module adds a new "Discount (Fixed)" field on invoice lines, so you can give a discount as a money amount rather than a percentage.

• The field appears on the invoice form, both in the list of lines and in the detailed line form, next to the usual percentage discount.
• The amount you enter is multiplied by the quantity of the product, so a fixed discount of 5 on a line with quantity 3 gives a total discount of 15.
• When you type a fixed discount, Odoo automatically calculates the equivalent percentage discount, and the line totals (subtotal and total with taxes) are recalculated using that value.
• If you instead type a percentage discount, the fixed discount is cleared, so the two ways of discounting do not conflict.
• Taxes are computed on the discounted price, so tax amounts stay correct.
• On the printed invoice, when any line uses a fixed discount, the discount column shows the fixed amount followed by the equivalent percentage in brackets.
• Access to the new field is controlled by a "Fixed Discount" user group, which is automatically given to users who can manage invoices.

The module works on invoice lines (account.move.line) and also adjusts how taxes are prepared (account.tax).
