Account Move Cancel Confirm

This module adds a safety step before cancelling accounting documents. Instead of cancelling immediately, Odoo opens a confirmation wizard so the user must confirm the action, and can optionally enter a reason.

• Applies to customer invoices, vendor bills, journal entries (account.move) and payments (account.payment).
• The confirmation window appears when clicking the cancel button on those documents.
• The cancellation reason is optional; it is stored on the document.
• When a payment is cancelled and its related journal entry is cancelled too, the reason entered on the payment is copied onto the journal entry.
• If a document is reset to draft, the stored confirmation and reason are cleared automatically.

The feature relies on the base cancellation confirmation module, which provides the wizard and the configuration. The behaviour is controlled by the base_cancel_confirm settings, where the reason can be disabled, optional or required. No new menus or reports are added by this module; it only changes what happens when users cancel or reset accounting documents to draft.
