Account Move Fiscal Month

This module adds a "Fiscal month" column to journal entries and journal items, so you can see at a glance which fiscal month each accounting document belongs to.

The fiscal month is worked out automatically from the entry date and the company, using the fiscal month periods already configured in Odoo. It is not typed by hand: it is recalculated whenever the date or the company changes.

Where it appears: - On the journal entry form, the Fiscal month field is shown right after the date. - In the journal entries list, a Fiscal month column is added. - In the journal entries search filters, you can search by fiscal month. - The same three places are added for journal items (the individual debit/credit lines), where the fiscal month is taken from the related entry.

Because the field can be searched, you can filter or group entries and items by fiscal month, for example to review everything posted in a given fiscal month or to prepare period-based reports.

The module only displays and filters this information; it does not create, close or lock fiscal periods, and it does not change any accounting amounts. It relies on the fiscal month feature provided by the module it depends on.
