Account Move Fiscal Year

This module adds a "Fiscal year" column to journal entries and journal items, so you can see at a glance which fiscal year each document belongs to.

Where it appears: - On the journal entry form, the fiscal year is shown next to the invoice date. - In the list of journal entries, the fiscal year appears right after the date. - On journal items (the individual debit/credit lines), the fiscal year is shown after the date, both on the form and in the list. - In the search filters of journal entries and journal items, you can search or group by fiscal year.

How it works: - The fiscal year is not typed by hand: Odoo looks at the entry date and the company, and automatically finds the matching fiscal year defined in the system. - If no fiscal year covers that date for that company, the field stays empty. - On journal items, the fiscal year is simply taken from the related journal entry, so it always stays consistent. - Searching by fiscal year works by matching the entry date against the start and end dates of the selected fiscal year, and it also respects the company.

This module relies on the fiscal year definitions provided by the account_fiscal_year module and extends the account.move, account.move.line and res.company models.
