Account Move Line Sale Info

This module links accounting entries to the sales documents behind them. On every journal item (account.move.line) you get two new fields: Sales Order and Sale Order Line. They are filled in automatically when invoices are created from sales orders, when stock moves generate accounting entries, and for the cost-of-goods entries created by Anglo-Saxon accounting.

Where you see it: - On the journal item form and list, the Sales Order and Sale Order Line columns appear next to the partner. - On the invoice form, the same columns are available in the journal items list. - In the Journal Items list view, you can filter and group by Sales Order or by Sales Order Line; the sale order line is shown as "[order reference] product (order status)".

Business rules and automatic behaviour: - When an invoice line is prepared from a sales order line, the link is stored on the resulting journal item. - When a stock move creates its accounting entry, the sales order line of the move is copied onto the entry. - For Anglo-Saxon cost entries, the module tries to match the invoice line by product and quantity and copies its sales order line. - When an existing journal item is copied, the sales order line is carried over.

Access to these fields and filters is controlled by a hidden group "Sale info in Journal Items", given to administrators. On installation, existing journal items are filled in from their stock moves or from their linked sales order lines.
