Account Move Total By Account Internal Group

This module extends the Journal Entries list view (account.move) with six optional columns, hidden by default, that show the total of each entry per account internal group: Total Asset, Total Equity, Total Liability, Total Income, Total Expense and Total Off Balance. Each column also displays a column total at the bottom of the list.

• The amounts are computed automatically from the journal items of each entry, summing their balance grouped by the internal group of the account.
• A new stored field account_internal_group is added on journal items (account.move.line), taken from the related account, so the grouping can be done efficiently.
• A pre-installation step fills this new field for existing journal items to avoid memory problems on large databases.

This is useful when the standard signed total does not reflect the direction you expect, for example in stock journal entries where you want to see assets increase with a debit and decrease with a credit. The columns are optional and can be enabled from the list view's column selector.
