Import OFX Bank Statement

This module adds OFX (Open Financial Exchange) as a supported file format when importing bank statements. On the bank statement import screen, the list of accepted formats now shows "Open Financial Exchange (.OFX Money)", so you can upload an .ofx file just like other statement files.

When the file is read, each account found in it becomes a separate statement. For every transaction, Odoo builds a line using the transaction date, the amount, and a label made from the payee, plus the cheque number and the memo when they are present. The statement's opening balance is calculated from the closing balance minus the sum of the imported transactions, and the closing balance is taken from the file.

• Multi-account OFX files are supported: one file can create statements for several different bank accounts.
• Accounts with no transactions are skipped.
• If the file cannot be read, a clear error message tells the user the file may not be valid.

The module works together with the generic bank statement import feature and extends the account.journal and account.statement.import models. It requires the external Python library ofxparse to be installed; without it, OFX files are simply not handled.
