Geo spatial support Demo

This is a demonstration module for the geospatial features of Odoo. It adds two sample data sets and map screens, so you can explore how location data works without setting up your own.

• ZIP areas (dummy.zip): each record has a ZIP code, a city, a priority, a polygon shape on the map, and a computed total of sales. The total is calculated from the retail machines whose map point falls inside the ZIP area.
• Retail machines (geoengine.demo.automatic.retailing.machine): each has a serial number, a map point, a power supply line, total sales, a money level, and a state (HS or OK). The ZIP area is filled in automatically from the point's location, and Odoo refuses to save a point that is not inside the linked ZIP area.

Both data sets are available under the GeoEngine Demo menu, in the GeoEngine Samples submenu, as Retail Machine and ZIP. Each has a normal list and form, plus a map view. On the map you can show points, lines and ZIP polygons, and colour them by state, by total sales (quantile or interval), or show only machines in a chosen state. Background maps such as OpenStreetMap and external map services are included. Sample records are loaded on installation. Access is limited to GeoEngine users and administrators.
