Calendar Holidays Public

This module adds a Public Holidays area under the Calendar configuration menu. There you create a holiday calendar for a given year and country, and inside it list each holiday date with its name, the states it applies to, and whether the date may change from year to year.

• Each holiday line automatically creates a confidential, all-day calendar event of the "Public Holidays" type, so holidays show up in the calendar; editing or deleting the line updates or removes that event.
• Odoo blocks duplicate holiday calendars for the same year and country, and blocks duplicate holiday dates within the same calendar (including overlapping states).
• A holiday date must fall in the same year as its calendar.
• A wizard, "Create Next Year Public Holidays", copies the most recent holiday calendar of each country to the following year (or a year you choose), so you do not have to retype everything. It refuses to use a template year containing 29 February.
• Other modules can ask whether a given date is a public holiday for a given contact, taking the contact's country and state into account.

Only administrators can create or change holiday records; other users can view them.
