Coupons on Commercial Entity

This module changes how coupon validity is checked when a coupon is applied to a sales document. Normally, a coupon is tied to the exact partner it was issued to, and Odoo rejects it with an "Invalid partner." error if another contact tries to use it.

With this module, that rejection is removed when the partner using the coupon shares the same commercial entity as the partner the coupon was created for. In practice, if a coupon was issued to a contact of a company, any other contact of that same company (or of the same parent company group) can use it.

The change is automatic and applies wherever coupon codes are validated, for example when entering a coupon code on a sales order. No new menus, screens, buttons or reports are added. The module only extends the existing coupon validation logic on coupon.coupon through _check_coupon_code, so the rest of the coupon behaviour (dates, usage limits, programs) stays unchanged.

It depends on the standard coupon module and is intended for businesses that manage several contacts under one commercial entity and want their promotional coupons to be shared across those contacts.
