Dms Action

This module adds a new concept of "DMS Action" to the Documents (DMS) app. An administrator can create actions under the DMS configuration menu (Actions), giving each a name, an icon, and linking it to a server action that runs on a DMS file. Each action can be assigned to one or more DMS directories.

On a directory form, a new "Actions" tab lets you choose which actions are available for files in that directory. When a file belongs to a directory with actions, its form view shows an alert with buttons for each action, and its kanban view shows a dropdown menu with the same actions. Clicking a button runs the linked server action on that file.

Business rules: only actions assigned to the file's directory can be executed; if a user tries to run an action not allowed for that directory, an error is raised. The module also adds a computed field that tells whether a file has any available actions, and the buttons only appear when there is at least one.

Access rights: regular DMS users can read actions but not create or modify them; DMS managers have full rights. The module touches the dms.action, dms.directory, and dms.file models, and adds a menu item under DMS configuration.
