EDI Sales UBL

This module extends sales orders and sales order lines with EDI (electronic data interchange) status information for UBL exchanges. It defines a set of statuses based on the PEPPOL standard: for the whole order, Accepted, Conditionally accepted, Rejected, and Message acknowledgement; for each order line, Added, Changed, Accepted without amendment, Not accepted, and Already delivered.

When a sales order comes from a UBL exchange, the module automatically compares the current order lines with the original values received. Each line gets a status: if the line is new it is marked as Added; if the quantity or product differs from the original it is marked as Changed; if the quantity is zero it is Not accepted; otherwise it is Accepted without amendment. The order itself is then set to Accepted if all lines are unchanged, Conditionally accepted if any line was added, changed, or not accepted, and Rejected if the order is cancelled.

The EDI status is visible on the sales order form: in the EDI section of the order and as an optional column in the order lines list. The status is read-only and updates automatically when relevant fields change, such as the product or quantity on a line, or the order state.

The module also adds event listeners that trigger the status recalculation when records are created or written, but only for orders linked to a UBL exchange. If no status can be determined, an error is logged.
