Field Service - Analytic Accounting

This module connects Field Service with analytic accounting. On each Field Service location you can now store an Analytic Account and a Billed Customer, shown in a new Accounting tab on the location form and as extra columns in the location list and search views (with a Customer grouping filter).

On a Field Service order you get an Accounting tab with a Bill To choice: Bill Location or Bill Contact. The order also shows a Contact, which is added to the order form, list, kanban and calendar views, and appears on the printed order report. When you pick a contact, the related service location is filled in automatically; if an order has no contact, the contact of its location is used.

When analytic entries are created for an order, the analytic account of the order's location is applied automatically; if the location has no analytic account, Odoo blocks the entry with an error. The same rule applies when a customer invoice line is linked to field service orders. Analytic lines can also carry an FSM Order and a Time Type (product), and the description is filled from the product.

A company setting, Filter Contacts with Location, lets you restrict the contacts and locations offered on an order to those matching each other. Field Service managers and dispatchers receive access rights and record rules for analytic accounts and analytic lines.
