auto_awesome What this module does
AI-generated from the code · Odoo 14.0Groups employee check-in/check-out records into attendance sheets that can be submitted, reviewed, approved and locked. Adds automatic lunch deduction and overtime calculation based on company settings.
This module turns raw attendance records into period-based attendance sheets per employee. Sheets are created automatically by a scheduled job for employees flagged with 'Use Attendance Sheets', using the period (Day, Week, Bi-Week or Month) and start/end dates configured on the company.
Each sheet shows the employee, department, manager, working hours, hours to work, total time and overtime. Overtime is total time minus the expected hours to work, never below zero. A 'Check in/out' button is available while the sheet is in Draft.
Sheets follow a status flow: Draft, Waiting Review, Approved and Locked. Buttons let users Submit to Reviewer, Approve, Refuse, Set to Draft, Lock and Unlock. Approval rights depend on the company review policy: HR Manager/Officer, Employee's Manager or Attendance Admin, or HR or Manager or Attendance Admin. A reviewer must be linked to an employee record. Submitted sheets cannot contain attendances without a check-out. Locked or approved sheets cannot be edited or deleted.
If Auto Lunch is enabled on the company, a lunch period is deducted when an attendance exceeds the configured duration; users can override it with a reason. Menus appear under Attendances: Attendance Sheets, My Attendance Sheets and Employee's Attendance Sheets. Two reports are provided: Attendance Sheet and Attendance Sheet Preview.

Source · Odoo 14.0Attendance Sheet Configuration:
- Go to Attendances -> Configuration.
- Set the Attendance Sheet Range to be used to calculate start/end dates
on the sheet when they are created.
- Set the Attendance Sheet Review Policy for who can review sheets.
- Choose Auto Lunch if you want a lunch calculated automatically. Duration is

For example, duration set to 5hrs, lunch set to .5hrs, if attendance is 6hours then the duration on the attendance would show 5.5hrs due to the auto lunch. Note: if there is two attendances and there is enough time between them, then auto lunch won't be applied.
Employee Configuration:
- Go to Attendances -> Manage Attendances -> Employees.
- Open the Employee and then HR Settings
- Check Manual Attendance to give them access to the attendance app.
- Check Attendance Sheets if they will be having sheets created for them.

this is used to calculates overtime values on the sheet.
- If manager's are set to review, make sure a manager is set on the employee.
