Employee Social Media

This module adds a way to keep track of which social media accounts belong to each employee.

On the employee form, inside the 'Social Media Accounts' section, you can add one or more lines, each with the social media platform and the account name. The lines are edited directly in the list, so you can add or remove accounts quickly.

A new configuration menu called 'Social Medias' appears under the Human Resources configuration menu. There, HR managers can create and maintain the list of social media platforms, each with a name and an optional website address. The module comes pre-loaded with Skype, Twitter and Whatsapp.

Each account line automatically gets a display name built from the account name and the platform name, for example 'john.doe (Twitter)'. This name is stored and updates automatically when either part changes.

Only HR managers can create, edit or delete social media platforms and employee accounts; other users can only view them. The module touches the employee record and adds two new data types: social media platforms and employee social media accounts.
