Belgium: Cooperator National Number

This module lets cooperatives collect the Belgian National Register number from people subscribing to shares. In the Cooperators settings you get two new options: "National Number" to show the field on subscription requests, and "Require National Number" to make it mandatory. Requiring it automatically turns displaying it on, and turning display off also turns the requirement off.

On a subscription request form, the National Number field appears after the country. It is hidden when the display option is off and becomes mandatory when the require option is on. These options only apply to individuals, not to companies.

When you validate a subscription request, Odoo checks that the number is filled in if it is required, and validates it against the Belgian National Register number format. If it is invalid, validation is blocked with an error. Once the request is confirmed, the number is stored on the related contact as a Belgian National Registry identification number, replacing any previous value. If the field is left empty, any existing number is removed.

When contact information is loaded into a subscription request, the existing Belgian National Number of the contact is filled in automatically. The module works together with the cooperator and Belgian partner identification modules.
