ITA - Fattura elettronica - Supporto SDICoop

This module extends the Italian electronic invoicing setup by adding a new choice to the SDI channel configuration: 'SDICoop (Web service)'. A ready-made SDI channel record with that name and type is created automatically when the module is installed, so users can select it when configuring how electronic invoices are exchanged with the Italian tax authority (SdI).

The module does not perform any real communication. The method that would send invoice files to the SDICoop web service, send_via_sdi_coop, is intentionally left empty and raises an error if called. In other words, choosing this channel will not send or receive any XML invoice or bill files.

• It only adds the channel type option and a default channel record.
• It touches the sdi.channel model used by the Italian e-invoice modules.
• No menus, buttons, reports, checks, scheduled jobs or emails are added.
• No automatic sending, receiving or validation behaviour is included.

This module is a starting point for developers who want to implement SDICoop communication: they must override the sending method themselves. For normal users, installing it simply makes the SDICoop channel available in the configuration list, without enabling actual invoice exchange.
