ITA - Regioni NUTS

This module is an Italian-specific extension for the NUTS region import feature. It does not add new screens or menus; it changes what happens when NUTS regions are imported.

When the module is installed, Italy's country settings are automatically adjusted so that the NUTS level used for provinces is level 4. This happens once, at installation.

During a NUTS import, each imported region whose code matches an Italian province is automatically linked to that province. The module contains a fixed reference list covering all Italian provinces (for example Agrigento, Milano, Roma, Torino, Bolzano, Cagliari and so on), so users do not have to assign provinces by hand after importing.

• It touches the NUTS import wizard (nuts.import) and the country settings (res.country).
• It relies on the base NUTS location module (base_location_nuts) for the import itself.
• No new fields, buttons, reports, emails or scheduled actions are added.

In short, it saves manual work: after importing NUTS data, Italian regions already carry the correct province, which is useful for addresses, partner records and any reporting based on province.
