Mexico - Financial Reports

This module adds a "Mexico" section under the Accounting reports menu with ready-made financial and tax reports for Mexican companies.

From that menu you can open: Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, Trial Balance, Aged Accounts Receivable, Aged Accounts Payable and DIOT. Each opens a small form where you choose the company and a start and end date; the start date must not be after the end date. You then press "Print PDF" to get a report showing account or partner names with debit, credit and balance columns.

For the DIOT report an extra button "Export DIOT (TXT)" appears; it produces a downloadable text file with one line per partner containing the tax number, the base amount and the tax amount, based on posted vendor bills and refunds. The button is only available for the DIOT report.

The module also installs pre-configured MIS Builder reports and instances in Mexican Spanish, including Balance General, Estado de resultados, Balanza de comprobación (annual and monthly), Cuentas por cobrar, Cuentas por pagar and Flujo de efectivo, with comparison periods and aging buckets. It reads posted journal items only, grouped by account or by partner, and uses the account types defined for assets, liabilities, equity, income and expenses.
