AI-generated from the code · Odoo 15.0

Adds support for exporting bank payment files in the KTB (Krungthai Bank) format. Users can select KTB as the bank, choose a bank type and service type, and generate an Excel payment file with the required KTB layout.

This module extends the existing bank payment export feature to support Krungthai Bank (KTB). When creating a bank payment export, you can now choose KTB as the bank. The export form shows extra fields: Bank Type (Standard/Express or Direct), Service Type (with different lists depending on the bank type), KTB Company ID, and Sender Name. These fields are only visible and required when KTB is selected.

The module adds a KTB Configuration tab on partner forms where you can enter a receiver's email and SMS number. These are included in the exported file.

Business rules are enforced: before confirming an export, you must set the Bank Type. If you choose Direct, payments must go to other banks; if Standard, payments must go to the same bank. Only one journal per export is allowed for KTB. Payments must use the 'Manual' payment method and a bank journal, and must be in the company currency. Each export line must have a recipient bank account.

The export file is generated as an Excel report with KTB-specific columns, including email and SMS, and a total balance footer. The module also adds KTB as an option in bank export formats and payment templates.

You can use this module to export a bank payment file in the format required by KTB. There are two main ways to initiate the export:

  • Create from a Vendor Payment
  • Go to menu Invoicing > Vendors > Payments.
  • Select payment > Action > Create Bank Payment Export
  • Create from the Export Menu
  • Go to menu Invoicing > Accounting > Bank Payment Export.
  • Create > select payment or Click Get All Payments when you need all payment to export

Then you can do following:

  • Select Bank KTB
  • Fill in required fields under the Information Export tab manually, or choose a pre-configured Template to auto-fill values.
  • Click Confirm to validate the document.
  • Click Export Excel to preview the information in .xlsx format.
  • Click Export Text File to generate and download the .txt file. The document's state will change to Done.
  • If a payment fails (after sending a text file to the bank), you can reject each line and generate a new document by clicking 'reject' on each line.

Notes:

  • Export Excel: To review information (.xlsx)
  • Export Text File: To create a text file and send it to the bank (.txt)
  • You must enable "Show Full Accounting Features" in user settings to access Bank Payment Export.
  • Only Account Managers can confirm and export documents.
  • You can Cancel an export document before it is submitted to the bank (different from Reject, which occurs post-submission).
