MIS Builder Budget Contributions

This module extends the budget lines used by MIS Builder budgets (the mis.budget.by.account.item model) with an optional Product field.

Where it appears: - In the budget lines list, a new Product column is shown after the Balance column. - In the search/filter panel of those budget lines, Product is available as a filter field.

What it lets users do: - Assign a specific product to a budget line, or leave it empty for a general (all-products) line. - Filter budget lines by product. - Use the product information when building MIS reports, so budget figures can be analysed per product.

Business rules and automatic behaviour: - The product list is limited to products that either belong to the same company as the budget line or have no company set. - When a product is set on a line, the overlap check also considers product: a line can overlap with another line only if that other line has the same product or no product at all. This prevents conflicting budget lines for the same product. - Changing the product on a line re-runs the date checks, so date consistency is verified again. - Budget lines are ordered by budget, start date, account and product.

It touches the budget-by-account line model and its list and search views; no new menus or reports are added.
