Manufacturing Analytic Items

This module links manufacturing activity to analytic accounting. When you consume raw materials on a manufacturing order, an analytic item is created for each stock move, using the analytic account set on the manufacturing order. The item records the product, quantity done, and the related manufacturing order and stock move.

When work center time is recorded (a time log is completed), an analytic item is also created. It uses the duration in hours and the work center hourly cost to compute the amount, and links to the manufacturing order and work order.

If the consumed quantity or the time log changes, the existing analytic item is updated instead of duplicated. If no analytic account is set on the manufacturing order, no analytic item is created.

You can see these items in a new 'Analytic Items' menu under Manufacturing > Reporting. The list shows the related manufacturing order, and you can filter to show only items related to manufacturing orders or group them by manufacturing order. The form view includes a 'Manufacture' section with the stock move and manufacturing order. The fields are also available in the standard analytic items list and search views.
