Manufacturing - Workcenter Cost Duration

This module adds a new option on manufactured products that decides how the workcenter portion of the manufacturing cost is valued.

On the product form, in the same section as lots and weight, you now find a radio-button choice called "Workcenter Cost Duration" with two options: - Effective: the cost uses the real duration recorded on the work orders (this is the standard Odoo behaviour and the default). - Theoretical: the cost uses the planned duration of the work orders instead of the real time.

The choice is stored on product.template and is required, so every product always has one of the two values.

When a manufacturing order is marked as done and its cost is computed, the module checks the product's setting. If it is set to Theoretical and no work order time has already been recorded as a cost, the system temporarily replaces the real durations with the planned durations before calculating the cost, then restores the original real durations afterwards. This means the accounting valuation reflects the planned time, while the actual time entries remain unchanged for reporting.

If the product is set to Effective, nothing changes compared with standard Odoo. The module touches product.template and mrp.production and depends on mrp_account.
