Partner Affiliates

This module changes how company contacts are organised in Odoo. On a contact form, a new "Affiliates" tab appears, but only when the contact is a company. It shows the other companies linked to it as a card view with logo, name, city, country and email, and lets users add, edit or open those companies directly from there.

• The "Affiliates" tab is meant for holding companies and other company structures.
• The existing "Contacts & Addresses" tab now only lists individuals (employees or other people) linked to the company, not other companies.
• The parent company field is always visible, even on companies, so nested company structures can be built.
• When a new affiliate is created from this tab, it is automatically set as a company, linked to the current company as its parent, and given the "other" address type.
• The small form used to edit an affiliate hides the company/individual selector and keeps the parent company field visible, so the link to the parent cannot be changed by mistake.

Everything happens on the standard contact form (res.partner); no new menus or reports are added. The module only changes the contact screen and the way linked contacts are filtered.
