Partner Name Hide Parent

This module gives you a simple option on the contact form: a checkbox called 'Hide Parent'. It only appears when the contact actually has a parent company set, so it stays out of the way for standalone contacts.

When you tick it, Odoo stops putting the parent's name in front of that contact's name. This is useful for branch offices or subsidiaries that you had to set up as an individual contact (because Odoo treats a company child as its own commercial partner), but you still don't want the parent's name appearing in printed documents or on the website.

• The checkbox is added to the main contact form, right after the Tax ID field, and also inside the inner contact form used for addresses.
• It is hidden automatically when the contact has no parent.
• The change affects how the contact's display name is built, so it flows through to QWeb reports, website pages and any other place where the partner name is shown.
• It works on the standard res.partner model, so it applies to customers, vendors and any other contact type.

No new menus or reports are added; the module only extends the existing contact form and the way partner names are displayed.
