Payment Acquirer: PagSeguro Implementation
This module extends the payment module to add a new payment method: Pagseguro.
There are three ways to integrate the Pagseguro API, in this module we use the checkout transparent approach.
You can learn more about that on this youtube video.
If you wish to use Pagseguro on production environment you need to get an approval from pagseguro, more on that here.
auto_awesome What this module does
AI-generated from the code · Odoo 14.0Adds PagSeguro as a payment provider in Odoo, letting customers pay by credit card directly on the website checkout with encrypted card data, and letting staff capture or cancel authorized payments.
This module adds PagSeguro as a new payment provider option in Odoo's payment settings. Once enabled, customers can choose PagSeguro at checkout and enter their credit card details directly on the shop page.
- Card data is encrypted in the browser before being sent, and only a card token is stored, so full card numbers are not kept in Odoo.
- The acquirer configuration screen gains a PagSeguro token field, used to authenticate with the PagSeguro service.
- Payments are created as authorized first, then can be captured or cancelled from the payment transaction.
- Capturing is blocked unless all related sale orders and invoices are in Brazilian Real (BRL), since PagSeguro only supports that currency.
- Successful or failed operations are logged on the payment transaction, and the transaction status is updated automatically.
- Saved payment tokens store the cardholder name and the PagSeguro card token for reuse.
The module works with payment.acquirer, payment.token and payment.transaction, and is wired into the website checkout and the standard payment form. A guided tour is included for testing the checkout flow.
