Pos Product Pack

This module brings product packs into the Point of Sale. When a cashier adds a product that is configured as a pack, Odoo automatically adds one order line for each component product of that pack, so the components appear individually on the ticket.

• Removing the pack line also removes all its component lines.
• Changing the quantity of the pack updates the quantity of its component lines.
• Component lines are shown with a ">" prefix in front of their name so they are easy to recognise as belonging to a pack.
• Component lines that are identical are merged together instead of creating duplicates.

On the technical side, the module loads pack information (whether a product is a pack, its pack type, component pricing and component lines) into the Point of Sale session, and stores on each pos.order.line a link to the pack line it comes from through the pack_line_id field. It depends on the product_pack and point_of_sale modules. No new menus or screens are added; the behaviour appears directly in the Point of Sale order screen when products are added or removed.
