Product Medical

This module gives you a place to record the regulatory information of medical products directly on the product form. On a product, a new Medical checkbox appears next to the product type, and a new Conformity tab is added to the product form.

In that tab you can set: - Categories: Medical Device Class, Drug Category, PPE Category, In vitro diagnostics and Notified Body (chosen from your contacts). - Documents: Declaration of Conformity and CE Certificate files, their validity dates, a Lot Related flag and a web link for the CE certificate of medical devices.

The module also creates four small reference lists you can maintain from their own screens: Medical Classes, Medicine Categories, PPE Categories and In Vitro Diagnostics. Each list is a simple editable table with a name, and duplicate names are refused. Some standard values are pre-loaded, such as CE Class I to CE Class III, Drug-D and Drug-E, and a few in vitro diagnostic types.

All internal users can read and manage these reference lists. The module only touches the product template (product.template) and the new reference models; it does not add automatic checks, emails or scheduled jobs.
