Product Packaging Type Required

This module adds a simple "Required" checkbox to packaging types. You tick it on the packaging type records you always want available on your products.

Where it appears: - On the packaging type list and form (the same screens where you manage packaging types), a new Required field is shown right after the code.

What happens automatically: - A scheduled job named "Packaging Required" runs every 20 minutes. It looks at all products of type storable or consumable and checks which required packaging types they are missing. For each missing one it creates a new packaging record on the product, using the packaging type's name. - The job is created inactive, so nothing runs until someone enables it.

What it touches: - It extends product.packaging.type with the new Required flag. - It creates records in product.packaging for products that lack a required packaging type.

Business use: if your company always needs a specific packaging (for example a pallet or a box) on every product, you mark that packaging type as required and the scheduled job keeps products up to date without manual entry.
