Product Secondary Unit

This module adds a new concept to products: secondary units of measure. On the product form, a new "Secondary Unit of Measure" section appears (only for users allowed to manage units of measure) where you can list extra units for that product.

For each secondary unit you enter: - a name and an optional short code; - the unit of measure itself; - a conversion factor (default 1); - a dependency type: "Dependent" or "Independent". When dependent, the factor is used to convert quantities between the main unit and the secondary unit. When independent, the two units are not converted into each other (useful, for example, when selling a service as a package but recording real hours). - an active switch, so a unit can be disabled without deleting it.

If the product has several variants, a secondary unit can be attached to one specific variant; otherwise it applies to the whole product template. The variant form shows the units that apply to it.

The module also provides a reusable building block so other Odoo screens (such as sales or purchase lines) can display a "Secondary Qty" and a "Second unit" field and automatically convert the quantity to and from the main unit. By default, a new line starts with a secondary quantity of 1 when a secondary unit is set. No menus, reports or scheduled actions are added by this module itself.
