Product set

A product set is a reusable list of products usually sold or used together. You create a set with a name, an optional internal reference and an optional partner, then add lines to it.

• Each line holds a product, a quantity, a unit of measure and a sequence for ordering. Lines can also be sections or notes, so a set can be organised like a quotation.
• Only products marked as sellable can be chosen on a line.
• Sets and lines can be archived; archiving a set automatically archives its lines, and lines follow the set's active status.
• The displayed name of a set combines its reference, name and partner, and you can search sets by any of those.
• Sets are company-specific: a multi-company rule limits each user to sets and lines of their allowed companies.
• A wizard model exists to pick a set and its lines and add them to another document; it checks that the partner matches the set's partner and raises an error if the set is restricted to someone else. This wizard is a base for other modules.

Menus and screens: a Product set list and form (with a Set tab for lines) and a Product set line list, plus search filters for active, archived and grouping by partner, product set or product. Regular users can only read these records; creating and editing is reserved for other modules or administrators.
