Project Task Merge

This module adds a "Merge Project Tasks" action on project tasks. Select one or more tasks in the list, kanban or form view and run the action; a pop-up wizard opens pre-filled with the selected tasks, their assignees, the project of the first task and that first task as the destination.

In the wizard you choose how to merge: - Keep an existing task as the destination ("Merge into an existing task"), or - Create a new task by ticking "Create a new task", giving it a name and a destination project.

When merging, the destination task receives the descriptions of the merged tasks (each labelled with its original task name), all their tags and attachments, and the assignees you selected. If a new task is created, its customer and priority are copied when all merged tasks share the same value.

Afterwards the merged tasks are archived (the destination task is kept), their followers are subscribed to the destination task, and their sub-tasks are re-parented to the destination task. Notes are posted on the tasks recording which tasks were merged or moved, and the wizard then opens the resulting task.

The wizard works on project.task and project.project and is available to standard project users.
