This module allows to use custom criteria for grouping purchases orders to be invoiced.

Default criteria for grouping (partner, company and used currency) will be always applied, as if not respected, there will be business inconsistencies, but you can add more fields to split the invoicing according them.

AI-generated from the code · Odoo 15.0

Lets you define extra grouping rules for purchase orders when creating vendor bills, so orders are split into separate invoices based on fields you choose, in addition to vendor, company and currency.

This module adds a new configuration object called Purchases Invoicing Grouping Criteria, where you give it a name and pick which purchase order fields should be used to split invoices.

You can set a default criteria on the company (through Settings > Invoicing, under a new "Purchases Order Invoicing" section) and a specific criteria per vendor on the vendor form. If a vendor has no criteria, the company default is used; if there is none, only vendor, company and currency are used.

When you select several purchase orders and click to create invoices, the orders are grouped by vendor, company, currency plus the fields in the criteria. Each group produces its own invoice, and Odoo then shows you the created invoices.

The criteria field on the vendor is a commercial field, so it is automatically copied to child contacts. The new criteria list is available in the Accounting menu under Configuration, and only accounting managers can create or change criteria; other accounting users can only view them.
