Purchase Requisition Line Description

This module adds a Product Description field to the lines of a purchase requisition (also called a purchase agreement). The description is filled in automatically when you pick a product on a line: Odoo takes the product name and, if the product has a purchase description, adds it underneath. The text is taken in the language of the vendor linked to the requisition, so the description matches what that supplier expects to read.

Where it appears: - On the purchase requisition form, the description is shown right after the product field on each line. - On the printed Purchase Requisition report, the line table now shows a Product column and a Description column, with the description text printed for each line.

Business behaviour: - The description is computed and stored, so it stays on the line even if the product is later changed or archived. - It is recalculated whenever the product on the line changes. - The vendor's language and the product's purchase description are used, so the same product can show different wording for different suppliers.

It touches the purchase requisition line model (purchase.requisition.line) and the purchase requisition form and report. No new menus or buttons are added.
