Repair To Sale Order

This module connects repair orders with sales, so the spare parts consumed during a repair can be billed through a normal sale order.

On a repair type (the configuration screen used to define kinds of repairs), a new option "Create sale order?" can be enabled. When it is on, repair orders of that type show a "Create Sales Order" button once the repair is confirmed. Pressing it creates a sale order for the customer, copying the repair order's customer, delivery and invoice addresses, the origin reference and the quotation notes, and turns each part line of the repair into a sale order line with the same product, quantity, price and taxes. The repair lines are linked to the created sale lines.

From the repair order you get a "Sale Order(s)" smart button showing how many sale orders are linked, and from the sale order a "Repair Order(s)" smart button shows the linked repairs. When the sale order is confirmed, the related repair orders are set to Done; when the sale order is cancelled, they go back to Confirmed. If a repair type requires a sale order, validating a repair without any part line is blocked with an error message. The module also passes the repair reference onto the stock moves generated by the sale order.
