Coupon Promotion Product Exclude

This module adds an extra option to promotion programs (coupons) in Odoo Sales. On the promotion form, right after the setting that says what the discount applies to, you get a new field called "Exclude Products" where you can build a filter (domain) on products. The field is hidden when the reward type is a free product, so it only shows for discount-type rewards.

When a promotion is applied to a sales order, Odoo normally looks at the order lines to decide the discount. With this module, any line whose product matches your exclusion filter is skipped:

• It is removed from the lines used as the discount base.
• It is removed from the paid lines considered for the reward.
• It is ignored when Odoo looks for the cheapest line (used by some promotion rules).
• For per-line percentage discounts, an excluded product simply gets no discount.

So if you run a 10% promotion but do not want it to apply to, for example, a specific product category or a set of gift items, you just enter that filter once on the promotion and those products are automatically left out of the calculation. No manual line editing is needed on each order.

The module works together with the coupon and promotion features of sale_coupon and touches the promotion program, its reward configuration and the sales order calculation logic.
