Sale Invoice Date From Picking

This module adds a setting that controls which date is used as the invoice date when you invoice a sales order that involves stock transfers.

In the Sales settings, under the invoicing section, you can pick a date or date/time field from the transfer (stock.picking) model. The choice is saved per company.

When an invoice is prepared from a sales order, the module looks at the last completed transfer linked to that order. If the chosen field has a value, that value becomes the invoice date. If the chosen field is empty, or if the field is a date/time field, the module falls back to the completion date of that last completed transfer. If no completed transfer exists, or no field is configured, the normal invoice date behaviour is kept.

Date/time values are converted to the time zone of the company's partner or the current user before being turned into a date.

The module extends res.company, res.config.settings and sale.order, and adds a field to the Sales settings screen.
