Sale Line Returned Qty Mrp

This module is installed automatically and works in the background on sales orders. It does not add any new menu, screen or button; it only changes how the returned quantity of a sales order line is calculated.

When a product is sold as a kit (a phantom bill of materials, meaning the product is assembled from several components), Odoo normally has trouble knowing how many units the customer actually sent back. This module fixes that calculation.

• It looks at the stock moves linked to the sales order line and finds the kit's bill of materials.
• For normal deliveries, it counts the returned components and converts them back into the kit quantity, so the returned quantity on the line reflects reality.
• For dropshipped kits (shipped directly by the supplier to the customer), it checks whether any completed move went somewhere other than the customer and whether returned moves exist; if so, the whole ordered quantity is marked as returned, otherwise zero.
• If the product is not a kit, or if all moves were delivered to the customer, the returned quantity is set to zero.

The calculation refreshes automatically whenever the related stock moves change state, are scrapped, or change quantity or unit of measure. It extends the sale.order.line model and relies on the returned quantity feature from the sale_line_returned_qty module and on manufacturing data from mrp.
