auto_awesome What this module does
AI-generated from the code · Odoo 18.0Extends the delivered margin calculation on sale order lines so that dropshipped products are included. It is installed automatically when both the delivered margin and dropshipping features are present.
This module makes the margin figures shown on sale order lines more accurate when products are shipped directly from a supplier to the customer (dropshipping) instead of passing through your own warehouse.
Without it, the delivered margin calculation only looks at regular outgoing deliveries and returns. With it, the calculation also picks up the stock valuation entries created by dropshipping moves, so the cost side of the margin reflects what was actually paid for goods sent straight from the supplier.
- It works on
sale.order.lineand extends the existing method that gathers valuation layers for the delivered margin. - It only considers dropshipping moves that are already completed.
- For a normal dropship (supplier to customer), it adds the negative valuation entries.
- For a dropship return (customer back to supplier), it adds the positive valuation entries.
There are no new menus, screens, buttons or reports. The change is automatic and invisible: it simply feeds extra cost data into the margin already displayed by the delivered margin feature. It is marked as auto-install, so it appears by itself once both the delivered margin and dropshipping modules are installed. No configuration is required.
