Sale Order Line Date

This module lets you set a delivery date on each individual sale order line, not just on the whole order. On the sale order form, a new Delivery Date field appears inside each order line and as an optional column in the lines list; it is also available in the standalone sale order lines list.

When you change the delivery date on the order header, any line that has no date of its own is filled in automatically with the order's date. For combo products, the date of the main line is copied to its linked lines.

When a line's delivery date is saved, the module updates the deadline on the related stock moves that are not cancelled or done. If you clear the date, the system falls back to the order's delivery date or the line's expected date. When the line is turned into a stock move, the planned date is calculated by subtracting the company's security lead time from the line's delivery date, and the deadline is set to that delivery date.

The delivery date is also shown as a new column on the printed quotation and sale order report, next to the quantity.
