Sale Order - Ordered Weight

This module adds weight information to sales documents. On each sale order line, Odoo computes an 'Ordered Weight' by multiplying the product's weight by the ordered quantity, converting units when the line unit differs from the product's reference unit. The sale order itself shows a total 'Ordered Weight' that is the sum of all its lines.

Where you see it: - In the sale order form, the line list has an optional 'Ordered Weight' column, and a weight total block appears near the order totals. - In the sale order and quotation lists, an optional 'Ordered Weight' column can be shown, with a sum at the bottom. - On the printed quotation/sale order report, a 'Weight' column per line and a 'Total Weight' row can be displayed.

Business rules and settings: - Two company-level settings control the report: show line weight on the sale report (off by default) and show order weight on the sale report (on by default). These are found in Sales settings.

It touches the sale order, sale order line, company and settings models. The weight values are stored and recalculated automatically when product weight, unit of measure or quantity changes.
