Sale Order Product Recommendation Secondary Unit

When you open the product recommendation wizard from a sales order, the list of suggested products now shows extra columns for a secondary unit and its quantity. This lets you order the same product in two units at once, for example 2 pallets plus 5 boxes.

• The secondary unit and quantity appear in the list, kanban and form views of the wizard lines, next to the main quantity field.
• The secondary unit is only shown when the product actually has one configured; otherwise the columns stay hidden.
• If a product already has a default secondary unit set, it is filled in automatically when the line is created.
• When a recommended line is already linked to an existing sales order line, the secondary unit and quantity from that line are reused.
• Changing the main unit of measure on a line automatically recalculates the secondary quantity, and the total quantity is kept in sync.
• When you accept the recommendations, the secondary unit and quantity are written to the new or updated sales order lines.

The module works together with the product recommendation wizard and the secondary unit features, and it is installed automatically when both are present. It only affects the recommendation wizard and the sales order lines it creates or updates.
