Sale Order Product Recommendation Stock

When you use the product recommendation wizard on a sale order, this module adds stock information next to each recommended line. A small inventory widget appears beside the recommended quantity in the list, kanban and form views of the wizard, giving you the same stock details you normally see on a sale order line.

The widget uses data computed for each recommendation line: quantity available today, free quantity today, forecasted quantity at the delivery date, expected forecast date, scheduled date, quantity still to deliver, whether the product is made to order, and the source warehouse. These values are calculated by creating temporary in-memory equivalents of the sale order lines based on the recommended quantities, so the figures reflect what would happen if you accepted the recommendation.

This module installs automatically when both Sales and Stock and the product recommendation module are present. It only extends the recommendation wizard; it does not add new menus or change sale orders themselves. Its purpose is to help you decide whether to accept a recommendation by showing if enough stock is available or if the product is made to order.
