Scrap Reason Code

This module adds a new configuration object called a reason code, used to explain why stock is scrapped.

• Warehouse managers create reason codes under Inventory > Configuration > Scrap Reason Codes. Each code has a name, a description, an optional scrap location and an optional list of allowed product categories. If no category is set, the code can be used for any product.
• On the scrap form and scrap list, a Reason Code field is added next to the product. Only codes whose allowed categories match the product's category (or codes with no category restriction) can be selected; choosing a code that is not allowed raises a validation error.
• Selecting a reason code automatically fills the scrap location with the location defined on that code, both on screen and when the scrap is saved.
• The reason code is copied onto the related stock move, and it is shown on the stock move form in a Reason Code group that only appears for moves linked to a scrap.
• The standard scrap reason tags field is hidden, so the new reason code replaces it.
• Access is controlled by groups: regular users can read codes, stock users can also modify them, and only stock managers can create or delete them.
