Stock Forecast Report

This module adds a new reporting screen called Forecasted Inventory under the Inventory app's Reporting menu. It is based on a read-only report model, report.stock.quantity, which is built from stock moves and current stock quantities.

Users can open the report and see three kinds of figures: Forecasted Stock (what is on hand), Forecasted Receipts (incoming moves) and Forecasted Deliveries (outgoing moves). The data is shown per product, per warehouse and per day, and can be displayed either as a line graph over time or as a pivot table.

The search panel lets users filter by product, product template, warehouse and state, and includes ready-made filters such as Forecasted Stock, Forecasted Receipts, Forecasted Deliveries, a date filter and a 'Forecasted this Week' filter. Results can be grouped by day.

The report is also available directly from a product or product template, where it opens pre-filtered on that product and on forecasted stock. Only users with basic access rights can read the report; nobody can create, edit or delete its lines. The report covers a window of about three months before and three months after today.
