Stock Inventory Valuation by Location

This module extends the stock quants screen (the list of products and quantities per location) with an extra column showing an estimated value.

• In the quants list view, a new 'value' column appears right after the quantity, together with the product currency.
• In the pivot view of the same data, 'value' is available as a measure, so you can group and total the value by location, product or any other grouping.

The value is calculated automatically: - For products using standard or average cost, the value is the product's standard price multiplied by the quantity in that location. - For products using FIFO costing, the module takes the total remaining accounting value of the product's stock moves and divides it by the total remaining quantity, giving an average unit value, then multiplies it by the quantity in the location. - Only locations that should be valued are taken into account, and quants owned by a third party (owner different from the company) are excluded.

The new value and currency fields are only visible to users in the Inventory Manager group. The module touches the stock.quant model and its list and pivot views.
