Stock Location Orderpoint Average Daily Sale

This module extends the location orderpoint feature so that, when you set up a replenishment rule on a stock location, you can choose a new option called "Past Average Daily Usage" as the replenishment method.

With this method, Odoo looks at the historical average daily sales recorded for products at the destination location and uses that to decide how much stock to bring in. The quantity to replenish is based on the average daily usage over the configured number of days, plus a safety margin that depends on how much the sales vary (standard deviation) and a safety factor, and it also considers the average quantity sold per sale. This helps avoid both stockouts and overstocking.

The calculation also takes into account what is already available at the location and what is already planned to leave or arrive before the replenishment horizon, so the final suggested quantity is adjusted accordingly.

You set this up on a stock location orderpoint by selecting the new replenishment method. The module works together with the average daily sale configuration and the location orderpoint features, and it affects how demand is computed for products at a specific location.
