Product template in putaway strategies

Putaway rules decide where incoming products are stored. Normally you must create a rule for each product variant. This module adds a Product Template field to the putaway rule list, so one rule can cover all variants of a product.

On the putaway rule screen, the new Product Template field appears before the Product field. You can fill in either a product template, a specific product, or a product category, but not more than one at a time: choosing a template makes the product and category fields read-only, and vice versa.

When a rule is saved with a specific product, the product template is filled in automatically from that product. If you create the rule from a product template page, the template is pre-filled from the page you came from.

During putaway, only rules with no product template or with the matching product template are considered, so template rules apply to every variant of that product.

A button on the product template form opens the list of putaway rules linked to that template, its category, or its variants. The module touches product.template and stock.putaway.rule and extends the putaway rule list view.
